There are different methods for slimming of different areas of the body

UltraShape

UltraShape is a method developed using the latest technology which achieves regional slimming while shaping the body without the need for surgical intervention. It combines focused, pulsed ultrasound energy and the benefits of vacuum-assisted radio frequencies.

UltraShape is a comfortable method that breaks up fat cells and tightens the skin without harming the blood vessels, nerves or skin of the treated area. Treated fat cells are metabolically removed by the body.

Thanks to the focused ultrasound technology used by UltraShape, no visible redness, swelling or bruising occurs and no discomfort is experienced after the procedure which lasts around 1-1.5 hours. You can return to your normal life immediately as there is no recovery process involved and no additional care is required. Results are long-lasting as the fat cells themselves are ‘melted’ away. UltraShape is an effective way to get rid of stubborn fat around the hips, stomach and thighs etc. that dieting and/or exercising cannot remove.

SmoothShapes

SmoothShapes includes laser and light systems. The laser system liquefies target fat tissue and a light system that improves circulation and makes it easier for the body to remove fat cells. It also includes mechanical massage rollers that force the liquefied fat through the lymphatic system (lymphatic drain massage) and eventually out of the body as well as a vacuum system that increases the depth of the light’s effect.

Smoothshapes is also used to remove cellulite and improve the appearance, tightness and smoothness of the skin, especially of the thighs and calves. It is also an effective treatment for cellulite on the stomach and back.

Many people who complete the course of treatment have been observed to thin by around 1-2 sizes. Results vary from person to person and it is necessary to view slimming as one of the advantages of the treatment rather than having any kind of expectations in this regard.

SmoothShapes can be used under the breast/chest, the back of the knees and the back. The length of the procedure lasts 40-80 minutes depending on the size of the area treated. During the procedure, the patient only feels heat and the massage; afterwards there is no pain or bruising. Having 8 sessions over 8 days or every other day gives very good results.

Eximia (Cavitation)

Cavitation is the non-surgical method that fights regional fattening and cellulite with ultrasound (sound waves). The spread of ultrasound waves across the surface of the skin causes sudden high-pressure changes in the fat cells’ cytosol (fluid). This causes the cells to expand, then to erupt, before causing cavitation bubbles.

This cavitation effect liquefies the fat before destroying the cell membranes and thus their structure. The fat cells and the released fat acids are broken up and are removed via the lymphatic system. Depending on the amount of fat on the treated area, serious slimming of 2-10cm can be seen after the first session. Sunsequent sessions are performed twice a week, with laser sessions being performed weekly.

The number of sessions is determined by each person’s case. A fat-free diet and plenty of water should be drunk to assist the treatment. Cavitation is an effective way of reducing the appearance of cellulite and to break up and melt stubborn areas of fat on the back, stomach, arms, waist and hips. Another advantage is that the strong ultrasound waves tighten the skin.

Radiofrequency Treatment

Radiofrequency treatment heats water molecules in cells found in the upper levels of the skin and melts fat tissue in a controlled manner so the radiofrequency waves don’t affect very deep level tissues. It is thus able to treat both deep and surface level cellulite. The number of sessions required for the face and body vary between 6 and 8. However, it is possible to get clearly visible results after only 2 sessions.
